Nude Restaurant opens in Paris

The Paris Naturist Association is thrilled. France already boasts hundreds of beaches, campsites, and spa centers meant to be enjoyed in the nude, and now, the famously clothing-optional country is breaking new ground in naturism. According to local newspaper Le Parisien, the first nude restaurant in Paris opened to the public on Friday—and local naturists are already big fans of the new spot.

2018 Best Cruise Line’s announced.

U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice, today announced the 2018 Best Cruise Lines rankings, evaluating 165 ships in 17 top cruise lines across six categories – up from 15 cruise lines last year. The rankings help travelers select the best cruise by brand, region, traveler type and budget. In response to the popularity of the small ship luxury cruising market and with the addition of CDC evaluations.

Viking Ocean Cruises was named Best Cruise Line in the Mediterranean by offering a high percentage of itineraries in the region and including one complimentary excursion in each cruise port.

Royal Caribbean is named the Best Cruise Line for the Money.

Disney Cruise Line was Best Cruise Line for Families and the Best Cruise Line in the Caribbean for the fifth consecutive year.

Crystal Cruises was named Best Luxury Cruise Line.

Seabourn, also new to the rankings this year, takes the number one spot for the Best Cruise Line for Couples by offering intimate ships and an abundance of fine dining options on board.

Celebrity Cruise Set to Offer Legal-Same Sex Marriages Onboard.

Celebrity Cruises said same-sex marriages performed onboard its ships are now legally recognized, marking a historic first for the brand. This follows a transformative vote in Malta, where a majority of the Celebrity fleet is registered, which passed the country’s parliament 66-1. The long-awaited referendum opens the door for Celebrity to legally recognize same-sex marriages performed onboard, and have Celebrity’s captains officiate the wedding.

Drivers License from Nine States Won’t be Valid I’D’s for Domestic Flights in 2018

Beginning Jan. 22, 2018, travelers from nine states will no longer be able to travel with only their driver’s licenses. Residents of Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Washington will have to use alternate ID forms (passport, military ID, or permanent resident card) to pass TSA security checkpoints—even for domestic travel.

Jimmy Fallon Loves Travel Consultants

“Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon, while promoting his new 3-D ride at Universal Orlando, said he doesn’t go anywhere without the use of an Travel Consultant because they know how to find the best deals and accommodations. “I was friends with a travel agent growing up in Saugerties, N.Y.; I’ve used a travel agent my whole life,” he said.
